High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Must have completed 12 years of schooling (pre-university or high school certificate).
Language Proficiency
- Farsi Programs: Understanding of Persian (Farsi) is required. Some universities offer a 1-year Persian language course for international students.
- English Programs (limited): English proficiency (e.g., IELTS/TOEFL) may be required.
Entrance Exams (Optional)
Some programs may require a Konkoor or university-specific test, especially for medicine or engineering fields.
Valid Passport & Visa
Must apply for a student visa after receiving admission.
Other Required Documents:
- Passport-sized photos
- Academic transcripts and certificates (translated into Persian or English)
- Recommendation letters (if applicable)
- CV or personal statement (for postgraduate programs)

Academic Qualifications
- For undergraduate: Completed high school with acceptable grades (equivalent to STPM, A-Levels, or Foundation).
- For postgraduate: Recognized Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
English Language Proficiency
- IELTS (4.5–6.5) or TOEFL scores required (varies by program and institution).
- Some universities accept a letter from your previous school stating that the medium of instruction was English.
Visa & Immigration Approval
- Visa processing usually takes 4–6 weeks.
Other Required Documents:
- Passport (valid for at least 18 months)
- Academic transcripts and certificates (certified and translated into English if needed)
- Passport-sized photographs
